Painted Flange Head Screws Pozi Self Tapping AB Point Bright Zinc Plated DIN 4174

Our Painted Flange Head 19mm Self-Tapping Colour Screws (8 x 3⁄4") are medium duty metal / wood screws that can be powder coated in any RAL colour your project requires. The flanged head gives an aesthetic finish whilst increasing the clamping ability of the screw. These screws are self tapping in metal, creating their own thread in a pre-drilled hole.

Self tapping screws are normally used with sheet metal and plastics. This painted screw has a flange head with a pozi pattern drive and incorporates a flange under the head which negates the use of a washer, whilst also protecting the receiving material surface. As the name suggests, this type of screw forms its own thread as it is installed into a pre-drilled hole. The self tapping ability is often created by cutting a gap in the continuity of the thread on the screw generating a flute and cutting edge similar to those on a tap.

RAL Painted Flange Head Self Tapping 19mm Colour Screws are suitable for a range of applications including the installation of ACM hoarding panels, stitching sheet metal and plastics, signage and graphics, and a variety of stitching, cladding, and ducting work.

Screws powder coated to specific colour

Great service, had been looking for a specific RAL coloured screws, for a current project and this was the only place that could accommodate. Great service and nothing was the problem. Will definitely be using them again ?
