Description
Pure white is the most widely specified white in commercial signage, hoarding and architectural cladding. These 32mm x 4.2mm flange head self tapping screws in RAL 9010 Pure White are powder coated to match the clean, natural white used across the full breadth of commercial panel systems, hoarding boards and facade installations throughout the UK. On a white surface, a zinc or uncoated fixing reads immediately as a grey-metallic interruption that breaks the uniformity of the panel face.
At 32mm, these screws provide the thread engagement needed where substrates are thicker, where panels are fixed to deeper timber battens, or where double-skin assemblies and wind-loaded hoarding installations demand greater pull-out resistance than a shorter screw can deliver. The length is the correct specification for these conditions.
The flange head spreads clamping force across a wide bearing footprint rather than concentrating it at a point, preventing the dimpling and surface stress that narrower head designs cause on ACM sheet, Foamex and rigid composite boards. The Pozi PZ2 recess drives cleanly at installation torque with minimal cam-out, keeping the head surface and powder coat intact after fixing.
A 60° self-tapping thread and AB point allow direct installation into light-gauge steel and sheet metal frames without pre-drilling, and pull cleanly through softwood timber battens with strong holding power in both substrate types.
RAL 9010 Pure White
RAL 9010 Pure White is the standard white across commercial signage, industrial panelling and general-purpose white cladding systems throughout the UK. It is a natural, balanced white without the cool blue influence of RAL 9016 Traffic White or the warm cream undertone of RAL 1013 Oyster White, which makes it the default white specification across the widest range of panel types and applications. Ask any signage installer or cladding contractor which white they use most frequently, and RAL 9010 is the answer.
Each screw head is powder coated to the exact RAL 9010 Classic standard. On large panel runs where dozens or hundreds of fixings are visible across the face of an installation, the colour-matched head eliminates the scattered metallic dots that standard zinc screws leave behind. The difference between a colour-matched and an unmatched fixing on a white panel is one of the most visible in the entire range, which is why RAL 9010 is consistently one of the highest-volume colours in the RALfixings stock.
RAL 9010 is the correct specification for the majority of white hoarding boards, white-painted signage trays, white ACM panel systems and white commercial fascia products. Where a panel reads as a very bright, cool white, RAL 9016 may be the closer match. Where it carries any warmth or cream quality, RAL 1013 is likely more accurate.
All RAL colours in the RALfixings range are held in stock for immediate dispatch without special order lead times on live project schedules.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know whether to order RAL 9010 Pure White or RAL 9016 Traffic White?
RAL 9010 Pure White is the correct specification for the majority of white panel systems, hoarding boards and commercial cladding products. RAL 9016 Traffic White is a cooler, brighter white with a slight blue influence, used where maximum brightness and crispness are the brief. If your panels read as a natural, balanced white without a strong cool or blue-white quality, RAL 9010 is almost certainly the correct match. If the surface reads as a very sharp, clinical bright white, check against RAL 9016 before ordering.
When should I use 32mm screws instead of 25mm?
The 32mm length is the right choice where the substrate is thicker, where panels are fixed to deeper timber battens, or where double-skin assemblies increase the distance between the panel face and the fixing frame. It provides greater pull-out resistance than the 25mm on exposed hoarding installations subject to wind loading, and is the correct specification wherever additional thread engagement is needed beyond what the 25mm can offer.
Can these be used to fix hoarding panels to timber frames?
Yes. The 32mm length and self-tapping AB point thread make these screws well suited to fixing panels to timber battens and stud frames used on construction hoarding. The flange head distributes clamping force across a wide footprint to hold the panel flat, while the extra length provides solid engagement into the timber behind.
How quickly can you deliver?
RAL 9010 Pure White is held in stock. Most orders dispatch next working day on a tracked 24-hour service. Larger volume orders typically ship within 3 to 5 working days.
Powder Coated Screws
RALfixings exists to give contractors and specifiers access to colour-matched visible fixings without the on-site hassle of painting screws or accepting the compromise of mismatched alternatives. Every screw in the range is powder coated in-house to exact RAL Classic colour standards, with consistent batch-to-batch colour accuracy across every pack size.
The electrostatic powder coating process deposits a fine layer of thermoset pigment onto the screw head, which is then cured under heat to form a hard, permanently bonded shell. This finish outperforms wet paint across every measurable category: adhesion, hardness, chip resistance, UV stability and colour consistency across production runs.
Benefits of powder coated self tapping screws:
- Scratch resistant
- Rust resistant
- UV resistant
- Weather resistant
- Colourfast
Other Colour Options
These 32mm x 4.2mm painted flange head self tapping screws are available in over 60 colour-matched RAL finishes for hoarding panels, signage and visible metalwork.

Recommended applications
Designed for fixing ACM panels, composite cladding, and timber facade boards to timber battens and structural substrates. The powder-coated head matches your panel RAL precisely, eliminating visible bright metal fixings against the facade surface.
At 32mm, these screws provide deeper thread engagement than shorter alternatives, making them the ideal choice for thicker substrates, double-skin panels, or applications requiring increased pull-out resistance. Pre-drilling recommended for hardwoods over 20mm density.
Not recommended for fixing into steel framing — use our self-drilling range for steel substrates.
