Compact Tek Screws for Roofing, Flashing & Light Steel Sections
These 13mm x 4.2mm hex head self drilling screws are designed for fast and reliable fixing into light gauge steel up to 2.0mm thick. Featuring a 1/4" washer-faced hex head and a sharp self-drilling (tek) point, they provide a clean, high-torque installation without the need to pre-drill.
With a Bright Zinc Plated (BZP) finish for clean appearance and interior corrosion protection, this compact screw is commonly used in applications such as cladding rails, flashings, brackets, and interior metal frame systems where a short screw length is ideal.
The hex head allows for higher torque during driving, reducing cam-out and improving grip — especially useful when working overhead or on-site with power drivers.
Common uses: steel batten fixing, lightweight metal framing, HVAC brackets, conduit clips, and roofing flashings.
