These 50mm x 5.5mm hex head self drilling screws with EPDM washers are ideal for deeper fixings into light gauge steel or through multiple layers of sheeting and trim. With a long reach and 5.5mm thread diameter, they offer exceptional grip and pull-out strength — perfect for brackets, secondary cladding supports, or external steel frameworks.
Each screw comes pre-fitted with a 16mm bonded EPDM washer, which compresses to form a tight, weather-resistant seal under torque. The washer-faced hex head allows for high clamping force, while the self-drilling tek tip removes the need for pre-drilling — even in steel up to 5mm thick.
Common uses: steel to steel fixings, external trims, profiled cladding, signage, and structural brackets exposed to the elements.
