We moved into our first premises at Normandy Business Park in September 2025. It was great to give RALfixings a place that was properly ours, but it became clear pretty quickly that we’d need more room as the business continues to grow.
So earlier this year we took on a second unit. It gives us space to hold more stock and host clients somewhere comfortable, whilst also allowing us to grow the team too.
We’d also just been through a rebrand to make RALfixings feel more like us. Having done that, it only made sense that the space should feel like us too: the colour wheel, the lettering, the frosted glass on the doors.
Working with a friend
For this we turned to Ross Hodgson at Lumenink, a longtime client and an even longer-time friend. We’re glad we did. From the first chat and survey, through specifying, right down to installation, Ross made everything happen.
It was a multi-element, multi-zone job:
We threw a few technical challenges at him along the way, and he handled them without breaking a sweat.
Watching it come together
Seeing the 3D lettering go up was oddly satisfying. Locators went on first, then each letter popped into place, one by one. Window film came next, then the indoor and outdoor signage to finish the package. Fixed with our own PanelPro HP25 screws in RAL 9010 Pure White.
The frosted film on the doors was one of our favourite details. The logo sits in clear glass between frosted bands, so the space still feels open.
One small thing
It’s a small change, but it’s changed how the place feels to walk into every morning.
A brand grows one day at a time, and this was one of those days.
