Description
Visible fixings on off-white and warm white panels draw the eye the moment they deviate from the background. These 25mm x 4.2mm hoarding screws in RAL 1013 Oyster White are powder coated to match the warm, slightly cream-toned white common across composite cladding panels, printed hoarding boards and commercial fascia systems, eliminating the contrast that zinc or bright white fixings introduce against panels that are not a true optical white.
The 25mm length gives these screws meaningful reach beyond the panel face and into the substrate behind. On installations where panels are thicker, where timber battens sit behind the cladding, or where wind loading demands positive pull-out resistance, the extra thread engagement matters. These are not general-purpose screws dressed up in colour - the length and geometry are chosen for the application.
The flange head is the right head type for face-fixed panel work. Its wide bearing surface spreads clamping force across the panel skin rather than concentrating it at a point, which prevents the dimpling and micro-cracking that pan head or countersunk designs can cause on ACM sheet, Foamex and rigid composite boards. The Pozi PZ2 recess drives cleanly with minimal cam-out at installation torque, keeping the head surface intact and the finish unbroken.
A 60° self-tapping thread and AB point allow direct fixing into light-gauge steel and sheet metal frames without pre-drilling. In timber subframes the thread pulls through cleanly and bites with strong holding power in softwood battens commonly used on hoarding structures.
RAL 1013 Oyster White
RAL 1013 is one of the most frequently misidentified whites on site. Contractors ordering RAL 9010 for a warm white panel system often find the resulting fixing stands out rather than disappears - because 9010 reads as a cool, blue-white against panels with a cream or yellow undertone. RAL 1013 Oyster White sits in the warm white family and is the standard specified colour for many timber-effect and off-white hoarding board systems, composite ACM panels and commercial cladding products produced by UK and European manufacturers.
Each screw head is powder coated in RAL 1013 Oyster White to the exact RAL Classic standard, providing a consistent warm white finish that integrates with the panel surface rather than sitting against it. On large hoarding runs or multi-panel signage installations where fixings are spaced at regular centres across the face, colour-matched heads remove the visual noise that standard metallic fixings introduce.
The warm white palette is well established in retail fit-out, commercial signage and temporary hoarding for high-footfall locations where the finished appearance is held to a higher standard than a utility construction site. Specifiers working on these projects increasingly require colour-matched fixings as a standard rather than an optional detail.
All RAL colours in the RALfixings range are held in stock, giving procurement teams and site managers reliable access to colour-matched fixings without project lead time risk.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between RAL 1013 Oyster White and RAL 9010 Pure White?
RAL 9010 is a cool, bright white commonly used in signage and industrial applications. RAL 1013 Oyster White carries a warm, slightly yellow-cream undertone that is a standard match for many hoarding board manufacturers, composite panel suppliers and commercial cladding systems. If your panels have a warm white tone rather than a blue-white appearance, RAL 1013 is almost certainly the correct match.
When should I use 25mm screws instead of 19mm?
The 25mm length provides additional thread engagement for thicker substrates, deeper timber battens and double-skin panel assemblies. Where the 19mm version suits single-skin sheet metal connections, the 25mm delivers extra grip and pull-out resistance when the screw needs to pass through the panel face and reach solidly into the frame behind.
Can these be used to fix hoarding panels to timber frames?
Yes. The 25mm length and self-tapping AB point thread make these screws well suited to fixing panels to the timber battens and stud frames used on construction hoarding. The flange head distributes clamping force across a wide footprint to hold the panel flat, while the extra length provides firm engagement into the timber behind.
How quickly can you deliver?
RAL 1013 Oyster White is held in stock. Most orders dispatch next working day on a tracked 24-hour service. Larger volume orders typically ship within 3 to 5 working days.
Powder Coated Screws
RALfixings exists to give contractors and specifiers access to colour-matched visible fixings without the on-site hassle of painting screws or accepting the compromise of mismatched alternatives. Every screw in the range is powder coated in-house to exact RAL Classic colour standards, with consistent batch-to-batch colour accuracy across every pack size.
The electrostatic powder coating process deposits a fine layer of thermoset pigment onto the screw head, which is then cured under heat to form a hard, permanently bonded shell. This finish outperforms wet paint across every measurable category; adhesion, hardness, chip resistance, UV stability and colour consistency across production runs.
Benefits of powder coated self tapping screws:
- Scratch resistant
- Rust resistant
- UV resistant
- Weather resistant
- Colourfast
Other Colour Options
These 25mm x 4.2mm painted flange head self tapping screws are available in over 60 colour-matched RAL finishes for hoarding panels, signage and visible metalwork.

Recommended applications
Designed for fixing ACM panels, composite cladding, and timber facade boards to timber battens and structural substrates. The powder-coated head matches your panel RAL precisely, eliminating visible bright metal fixings against the facade surface.
Pre-drilling recommended for hardwoods over 20mm density. The flange head spreads clamping force across a wider footprint, reducing surface pitting and preventing pull-through on thinner sheet materials.
Not recommended for fixing into steel framing — use our self-drilling range for steel substrates.
