Description
DeckingPro™ DS50 in RAL 1015 Light Ivory are 4.5 x 50mm A2 stainless steel decking screws designed for face-fixing light-coloured composite decking boards, fascia boards, riser boards, and perimeter framing where a colour-matched fixing is essential to maintain the clean, pale aesthetic of the finished deck. The same warm ivory tone also suits pale and cream-stained softwood and hardwood timber decking, where a light-coloured head is a more considered choice than a standard silver screw against a pale surface.
Light and cream-toned composite boards are unforgiving when fixed with unmatched screws. A standard silver or anthracite head reads as an obvious intrusion against a pale surface. DeckingPro™ DS50 in RAL 1015 eliminates that compromise entirely, providing a screw head that integrates with the board tone rather than contrasting with it. The double countersunk profile pulls cleanly below the surface, and the PZ2 drive provides reliable engagement under power driving.
The sharp point and single-start thread allow efficient installation directly into composite decking boards and timber subframes without pre-drilling in standard applications, making this a practical choice for both professional installers and confident DIY projects.
Colour-Matched for a Professional Outdoor Finish
RAL 1015 Light Ivory sits at the pale end of the beige and cream spectrum, a warm, soft off-white that has become increasingly popular in composite decking as an alternative to the grey-dominated palette. It complements natural garden settings, pale limestone paving, white render, and timber-framed outdoor structures where a warmer neutral tone suits the surroundings better than a cool grey.
The screw head is powder coated in-house to RAL 1015 Light Ivory specification, producing a consistent head colour that holds its tone under prolonged UV exposure in UK outdoor conditions. On fascia boards and riser boards where fixings are viewed at close range, a properly matched head removes the visual noise of an unmatched screw entirely.
All 8 DeckingPro™ RAL colours are stocked for same or next working day dispatch, so matching screws across your complete project requires no waiting for bespoke orders.

Frequently asked questions
Which decking boards does RAL 1015 match?
RAL 1015 Light Ivory is the closest available RAL match to ivory and cream-toned composite decking boards from UK brands, and suits pale oak, ash, and cream-stained softwood timber boards in natural or lightly oiled finishes. Composite boards do not carry published RAL codes and colour can vary between batches. We recommend checking our colour matching guide before placing a full order.
Can these be used on hardwood and softwood timber decking?
Yes. DeckingPro™ DS50 screws are manufactured from A2-304 stainless steel, suitable for softwood, hardwood, and corrosive timber species including green oak and cedar. The ivory powder coated head suits pale oak, ash, and cream-stained timber decking boards where a light-coloured fixing is preferable to a standard silver head. Pre-drilling with a 3.5mm pilot hole is recommended for hardwood boards and fixings close to board edges.
Are ivory decking screws available in stainless steel?
Yes. DeckingPro™ DS50 screws are manufactured from A2-304 stainless steel. The powder coated head finish is applied to the screw head only, leaving the stainless steel thread and shank fully intact for corrosion resistance.
Do I need to pre-drill for these screws?
For composite boards and softwood joists, pre-drilling is not required in most standard applications. For hardwood boards, hardwood joists, or fixings within 15mm of board edges, a 3.5mm pilot hole is recommended to prevent splitting.
Will the ivory powder coat fade over time outdoors?
The electrostatic powder coating process produces a UV-resistant finish that holds its colour well under normal UK outdoor exposure. Light colours are more susceptible to visible soiling than dark colours, but the coating itself is designed to be colourfast and weather resistant for the life of the deck installation.
What are the delivery and lead times on DeckingPro™ screws?
All 8 DeckingPro™ stocked colours are available for same or next working day dispatch on a tracked 24-hour delivery service. Larger trade orders typically dispatch within 1 to 2 working days.
